Unfortunately, this printer turned out to be slightly larger than expected (replacing a similar multifunction device which was a little smaller). It took a bit of setting up both USB and wireless - was a bit confusing in the instructions that the first installation had to be a wired one. Very frustrating that the instructions in the box are VERY basic and simplistic - you need to access the User Guide or even their support site to get all the settings worked out - fax setup, dialing, etc. Samsung assume you only want to do the most simple functions!
Additionally, it is noisier than expected (certainly not quiet), and the toner ran out quite quickly. I then realised that first toners are generally not the full spec, very frustrating. The machine won't even scan or fax if there is no toner - a very annoying feature!
It was also very difficult to find out how to scan multiple pages into the same document - a very bad omission to the instructions if you ask me! My husband spent much time scanning large documents and then emailing them - only to find that he'd only emailed the first or last page!!! It took a lot of digging and trial and error to find out which format they needed to be scanned as - this is definitely something that Samsung need to address in their instructions.
Having said all that - it prints fairly rapidly and consistently, does carry out the printing, faxing and scanning that we needed, and is very useful that it's wireless (one reason for updating from the previous device). Time will tell if it meets any other expectations
